I don’t know about you, but YouTube has become one of my favorite spaces for inspiration, learning, and even a bit of escapism. Whether it’s discovering new places to explore, learning about personal finance, or seeing how others navigate career changes, there’s always something new to watch.
Here are three YouTube channels I’ve been hooked on recently:
🌍 1. Wanderlust Alley
I originally started following Wanderlust Alley for her cruise content — her cheerful personality always made me feel like I was right there on deck. But after her injury, she pivoted toward broader travel content, and I’ve loved the journey she’s taken her audience on.
Her recent van life adventures and narrowboat videos have been some of my favorites. There’s something so refreshing about the way she captures everyday moments on the road (or water!) and shares them with such bubbly, infectious energy. Watching her content reminds me that there’s so much of the world to see, and it always leaves me feeling a little more adventurous.
đź’Ľ 2. Nischa
If you’re looking for videos that make personal finance and business concepts actually easy to understand, you need to check out Nischa. A former investment banker, she creates content that blends self-development, money management, and business insights into bite-sized lessons.
Some standout videos include:
- “9 Habits Keeping You Poor”
- “The 5% Rule”
- “I Read 40 Books on Money. Here’s What Will Make You Rich.”
That last one is a personal favourite — I’m always on the lookout for new book recommendations, and Nischa breaks them down in such a practical, actionable way. Her channel is one of those places you can go and know you’ll leave a little smarter every time.
🚀 3. Chloe Shih
Chloe Shih’s channel has been a refreshing mix of professional insight and personal storytelling. She shares her experiences in product management and business development, but also gets real about her personal growth journey.
I particularly appreciate her candid discussions around navigating retrenchment and how she pivoted her career. It’s the kind of content that feels both relatable and inspiring — especially for anyone going through change or figuring out their next steps.
Her perspective makes you feel less alone in the ups and downs of career and life, while still giving you practical takeaways you can apply.
🌿 Final Thoughts
YouTube can sometimes feel like an endless rabbit hole, but when you find creators who inspire you, teach you something new, or just brighten your day, it’s such a gift. Wanderlust Alley, Nischa, and Chloe Shih have been those creators for me lately — each offering something different, but equally valuable.
If you’re looking for travel inspiration, money wisdom, or career growth insights, I highly recommend checking them out.
