Tired of the hectic pace of city life?

You’re in Hoi An but would like to be chilling at a countryside instead?

Consider going to a cafe with a panoramic view of the paddy fields.

I recently went to the Roving Chill House(not sponsored!)— only about 3km away from the Hoi An Old Town- but feels like a completely different place. It comes decked out with multiple lounge chairs covered by sun umbrellas facing the beautiful paddy fields- where you can indulge in various coffees, teas, and other beverages , and even order mains if you’re thinking of spending breakfast or lunch here. There are other places around as well if you Google with the search term “Paddy Fields Cafe”.

The expanse of paddy fields is unexpectedly calming, with the leaves swaying with each gust of wind. Nature lovers would be delighted to see different species of birds resting on the top of the  leaves of the plants, and there are some dragonflies flying around as well. You may even spot the occasional cow grazing in the fields! Definitely go before the harvest season if not you would not be able to catch the lush view.

Bring a book to curl up with, or a journal to jot down your thoughts- and get ready to spend a relaxing few hours surrounded by a panoramic view of lush green beautiful paddy fields.
