If you’re a fan of pilates, vintage shopping or both, and you happen to be in London, this article might be of interest to you!

I used my classpass to book a class at Tempo 301 pilates. It was a awesome way to start my morning and it was great that I could use my classpass credits as well, so that I wouldn’t need to pause my subscription while overseas. That day’s class focused mainly on upper body as well as core, and I definitely felt it the next day !

After the class, I ventured to the Old Spitalfields Market, which was very lively. Dating back over 350 years, this iconic market has evolved from a traditional trading space into a dynamic destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Its historic Victorian architecture houses an eclectic mix of independent boutiques, artisanal food stalls, vintage shops, and contemporary brands, creating a unique atmosphere that caters to all tastes. There were many food trucks that varied from chinese cuisine, korean food, to burgers and pizzas. I chose greek cuisine at “The Real Greek” as they had an affordable lunch set at only 12 pounds! Whether you’re exploring handmade crafts, savoring global cuisines, or simply soaking in the lively ambiance, the Old Spitalfields Market remains a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike, offering a true taste of London’s diverse charm and heritage.

After exploring Old Spitalfields Market, I headed to Brick Lane for some vintage shopping. The Brick Lane vintage market was filled with stores selling things from retro fashion, handmade jewellery, to quirky home decor. Wander down through the streets to explore Brick Lane’s vibrant street art and food stalls along the street as well. Go on a Sunday if you want to explore the Brick Lane Market. However if you prefer to avoid the crowds, go on a weekday.

Remember also that rest while traveling is essential for staying energized and fully enjoying the journey. Amid the excitement of exploring new destinations, it’s easy to overlook the need for downtime, but giving your body and mind a break can enhance your overall experience. Incorporating moments of rest into your itinerary—whether through leisurely mornings, a quiet afternoon at a café, or a quick nap—can help you recharge and prevent travel fatigue. Remember, rest isn’t about missing out; it’s about ensuring you have the stamina to savor every moment of your adventure.
