In the recent years, health and wellness has been one of my top priorities. As such, I’ve tried various ways to incorporate more movement and exercise into my schedule, as well as improve my (unhealthy) eating habits. Recently, I got my second InBody Test!

What is an InBody test?

If you’re unfamiliar, an InBody test is a detailed body composition analysis that goes beyond the numbers on the scale. It measures body fat percentage, muscle mass, water weight, and more, offering a comprehensive look at your health. For me, it was eye-opening. I’ve learned that the number on the scale isn’t the full story—what matters is the ratio of fat to muscle and how your body composition supports your overall health and goals.

My initial InBody test done about a year ago was shocking to me– although I was considered at a healthy weight, however my body fat percentage was alarmingly high, and muscle mass percentage was very low as well.

It was then that I decided to become more intentional about incorporating strength training into my lifestyle.

Due to my busy work schedule, I was only able to strength train regularly around 1-2x a week, and 3x a week on less hectic months.

Recently, I had the opportunity to repeat the InBody test again. When I saw my latest InBody results, I was thrilled to learn that I had reduced my body fat while increasing my muscle mass. Seeing tangible evidence of my progress was the push I needed to stay consistent.

These results reminded me that fitness is a marathon, not a sprint. Building muscle takes time and effort, but the payoff is worth it—not just in how you look, but in how you feel. My energy levels are higher, my clothes fit better, and I feel more resilient in every aspect of life.

If you’ve been curious about strength training or need a little extra motivation, consider getting an InBody test or tracking your progress in another meaningful way. There’s nothing more empowering than seeing the results of your hard work and knowing you’re investing in your health for years to come.

Here’s to lifting heavier, getting stronger, and embracing the journey—because the best is yet to come!
